In the community

At StarTrack we are proud to contribute to the local communities where we live and work. That's why we offer our support and services to a range of charities and not-for-profit organisations every year.

We are continually looking at ways to engage our staff in local and national community events by seeking their input into the events and charities we support each year. StarTrack has a charitable contributions program that in 2012 saw us support Surf Lifesaving Australia, The Smith Family, Canteen and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Aside from the charitable contributions program, we partner with a number of organisations including:

Cancer Council

Through our partnership with the Cancer Council’s flagship fundraising event Daffodil Day, StarTrack helps deliver thousands of Daffodil Day merchandise boxes right across Australia. The proceeds of which help raise much needed funds for the fight against all cancers.

In 2012, StarTrack celebrated ten years supporting the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day.

Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards

StarTrack supports the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards, acknowledging the industry’s best and brightest talent.

By providing freight services for the AACTA Awards screenings, StarTrack ensures all films in competition for an award arrive at their Melbourne and Sydney venues on time. StarTrack also has the honour of delivering the AACTA Awards statuettes to the Awards ceremonies.

Our partnership with the Australian Film Institute dates back to 2007 and we are proud to support the ongoing success of Australian film and television.

Brighter Future 4 Kids

Each year StarTrack supports the Brighter Future 4 Kids Foundation’s Shoes & Socks 4 Kids program. The program provides high quality leather shoes and socks free of charge to Australian kids living in poverty and arriving at school without shoes or socks.

StarTrack donates it’s time to support this worthy cause by transporting shoes and socks right across Australia to schools with students in need.

Australian Logistics Council

StarTrack is a major sponsor of the Australian Logistics Council (ALC) Forum, which brings the freight logistics industry together to share knowledge, experiences and challenges.

At the 2013 Forum in March, StarTrack presented on productivity and efficiency, exploring how  investment in technology, excellent service and innovation continues to make it a leader in the express freight market.

StarTrack signed up as an official ALC member in 2011. Membership with the ALC demonstrates StarTrack's commitment to supporting
supply chain industry policy and regulation, and ensuring the industry has a safe, efficient, sustainable and competitive future.
